Developers Vying for Federal Stimulus Money

Some of Baltimore's prominent developers are vying for a piece of the City's $30.8 million in federal stimulus funds. The Baltimore Development Corp. (BDC) is the City's economic development arm. It has received 19 proposals for City's Recovery Zone Facility Bonds, which is money set aside in the Federal stimulus bill to stimulate economic recovery in distressed parts of the country.
